This outstanding High Performance Decking Screw in the right hands will achieve a professional flush finish to any decking installation. It is designed countersunk with two threaded sections to aid this. The teeth on the lower thread cuts easily into timber eliminating the need for a pilot hole and avoiding timber splitting. Whilst the upper thread clamps the decking allowing the boards to be securely held together. A TX recess allows for easy driving and longer bit life. The advanced green coating enhances protection against corrosion and is acid resistant ensuring that the decking screw will last a lifetime.
It is mainly used on decking but is also suitable for other outdoor projects such as fencing and pergola building where one piece of timber needs to be firmly secured to another.
